As a guest at of the Greenville Seventh-Day Adventist Church here's what you can expect on your first visit:
As you enter the doors of our lobby, you will be warmly welcomed with a smile by one of our greeters. You will be handed a bulletin and asked to sign our guestbook (if you feel comfortable doing so). This bulletin contains the Sabbath program as well as several announcements about what's happening in the life of the church.
If you arrive between 9:15 and 9:30am you're welcome to join us for a special time to specifically pray for our children/grandchildren. At 9:30 am our Sabbath School (bible classes) begin. This is a time of study and discussion in various smaller groups. We have classes for infants through adults.
The main service begins at 10:45am with our announcements and health nugget. We then are lead out in a couple Praise & Worship songs for congregational singing, which means we all sing together. All song lyrics are projected on a large screen, in a folder or the hymnal. You can join with us in singing or simply enjoy the music. During the following hour the participants listed in the bulletin will be called to tell a children's story, pray, read a portion of the Bible or sing. Finally, the Speaker will present a message, or a sermon, which usually lasts about 30 minutes.
Every Sabbath a free lunch is offered following the service. We invite you to stay! The lunch is served in the Fellowship Hall next to the church.

Here, we are about mentoring the younger generation as they are our future! We recognize our young people as being important and bringing valuable ideas and gifts to our service and activities. They are very active in much of what we do here at Greenville SDA Church! Our young people welcome other young people from the moment they enter and invite them to take part of the service or activities.
